The TurboTec ZRX110 Turbo kit has proven to be an exceptional
upgrade for an exceptional motorcycle. After many hours of Dyno testing,
this system has shown to drive similar to a stock bike except of course
for a huge gain in horsepower and torque!
The wonderful driveablity is due to the use of the stock carbs. At 8 PSI
Boost with the shorty pipe (Dump Pipe) we have gotten 185 rear wheel horse
power, with a little tweaking (Cam Timing-Ignition Timing) we have achieved
201 HP. This is equivalent to a ZX12R with Nitrous Oxide.
There are many motorcycles and accessories that can make more power including
this one (Just change the boost control spring with ones that are available
up to 15 pounds). Now the ZRX1100 is a peppy bike stock at 93-96 rear
wheel horse power. When you go to 185 rear wheel horse power it becomes
a fire breathing monster. When you go above that you start getting into
areas that require heavy components and traction can be a problem.
